Second Best Friend

Love So Far Poster - 1200x675.PNG

Sarah Boston is a stand up comedian, bestselling author, actor, podcaster and veterinary surgical oncologist. She is just focussing on being a stand up comedian for this show. Sarah has spent a lot of her formative years in Guelph and she is so happy to be back performing at the Guelph Fringe Festival. This hour long show will be a work in progress of Sarah's stand up comedy. Sarah has previously performed at the Guelph Fringe Festival (2024, Jury Nod for Storytelling), Ottawa Fringe Festival (2025), Women in Comedy Festival UK (2025) and the Halifax Comedy Festival (2026). She doesn't know why she is saying this in third person, but also she can't wait to see you! She is thrilled to be performing in Guelph and also a bit relieved that her mom won't be at the show to heckle her. (It's a problem.)

Land Acknowledgement

The Guelph Fringe Festival will be performed on the treaty lands and territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation of the Anishinaabek Peoples. We recognize this gathering place where we create and perform theatre is home to many past, present, and future First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. Our acknowledgement of the land is our declaration of our collective responsibility to this place and its peoples’ histories, rights, and presence. The Guelph Fringe team supports and adds our collective voice to the CALLS TO ACTION by the Truth and Reconciliation Committee on Indian Residential Schools (and other identified sites of trauma) with our commitment to never forget, to hold governments and colonial forces to account, and to seek accountability and healing for injustice.
