The Road to Somewhere

Love So Far Poster - 1200x675.PNG

When LaLi is suddenly dismissed from the circus and told to leave immediately, she finds herself facing a question she never expected: what comes next?

Determined not to let one closed door define her future, Lali embarks on a journey of reinvention. As she searches for a new path, she explores unlikely opportunities, encounters curious strangers, and stumbles into situations that are equal parts chaotic, hilarious, and heartwarming.

From a picnic that takes an unexpected turn to an attempt at magic gone spectacularly wrong, and even a boxing ring showdown, each new adventure challenges LaLi's assumptions about who she is and who she might become.

Blending physical comedy, clowning and heartfelt storytelling, this family-friendly show celebrates resilience, curiosity, and the courage to keep going when life doesn't go according to plan.

A playful journey of misadventure and self-discovery, LaLi's search for belonging may lead somewhere she never thought to look.

We recognize this gathering place where we create and perform theatre is home to many past, present, and future First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. Our acknowledgement of the land is our declaration of our collective responsibility to this place and its peoples’ histories, rights, and presence. The Guelph Fringe team supports and adds our collective voice to the CALLS TO ACTION by the Truth and Reconciliation Committee on Indian Residential Schools (and other identified sites of trauma) with our commitment to never forget, to hold governments and colonial forces to account, and to seek accountability and healing for injustice.
